Zero Slot Fans for PCIBPMCX2

PCIBPMCX2 is a two slot PMC carrier for the PCI / PCI-X bus. One or two PMC´s can be installed in a single PCI slot configuration. Dynamic Engineering has updated the PCIBPMCX2 design to include the use of "Zero S...

Zero Slot fans were invented by Dynamic Engineering at the suggestion of our clients to solve the problem of requiring two PCI slots when fans are required for cooling PMC´s.

Dynamic Engineering introduced Zero Slot fans on the PCIBPMCX1 product and is now in the process of updating all carriers in the Dynamic Engineering product line to have this capability.

PCIBPMCX2 is now shipping with the Zero Slot fan capability. PCIBPMCX2 is a two slot PMC carrier for the PCI / PCI-X bus. The concept is to use low profile fans specifically modified to Dynamic Engineering requirements, and to use the height above and below the board to reduce the effective height of the fan(s). The PMC specification allows 4.7 mm on the carrier component side in the non-connector area....
