OMG, Object Management Group
Founded in 1989 to promote the theory and practice of object management
technology in the development of software.
Their goal is to develop a common framework, based on industry-derived
guidelines, that is suitable for OO applications and form a consensus on
certain object management issues directly affecting software sales.
