JMI's PSX is an optional extension to C EXECUTIVE,
and provides a single-user, single-group subset of
POSIX.1. PSX adds POSIX signals, threads, mutexes,
and condition variables, plus many other POSIX
calls. PSX has the same real-time scheduler and
device drivers as C EXECUTIVE, so that hard
real-time applications can have access to the
basic POSIX system features found on Unix.
