Usually, the behavior and performance characteristics of elementary parts making up a system are understood and can be modeled. CoFluent Studio lets designers model systems with simple graphics and C code. However, the global behavior of a system is difficult to predict as it results from interactions between its elementary parts driven by given environmental conditions. Similarly, the global performance of a whole system is not constant and does not equal the sum of local performances of elementary parts. As CoFluent Studio generates and runs executable SystemC models of a whole system, it automatically computes and displays the evolution of the above major performance indices over time, locally and globally, providing min, max and average values.
